Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue took part in the activities of Sports Day activities, in cooperation with Qatar University, and has organized sport competition, gathering different schools, such as Egyptian, Jordanian, Indian, Tunisian and Philippine schools; the event was hosted by Qatar University.

At the end of the event d. Ibrahim Al-Naimi Chairman of Doha International Center Management for interfaith dialogue has honored supervisors, as well as the participating students, and thanked all those who contributed to the success of this event, which has a spirit of brotherhood and fair competition, as this occasion contribute to enhancing the communicative and a culture of dialogue and coexistence between the different communities living on the territory of Qatar.

In his speech for this occasion, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Naimi Chairman of the Board of Directors said that Sports Day is an important event in Qatar, it is based on the philosophy of communication and partnership between the spectra of the society to practice sports days, to promote the value of sport in the everyday live. Therefore Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue, like many institutions, has decide to participate in this national event.

Dr. Al-Naimi also stated that it is a suitable opportunity for bring together schools from different communities, to share sport activities. In Fact, students cannot get such opportunities so often, it comes one a year, but its contributes to consolidate the spirit of co-existence, and the formation of lasting, and also an opportunity to get acquainted and remove barriers.

For his part, Nagy Ibrahim teacher Physical Education Egyptian School of Languages, added that we, as a school community, are represented, in this occasion, by a number of teams in different places, including, this event, in collaboration with the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue, but such important events contribute to achieve what we can call Sport for All.
Mr. Ahmed Fathallah, Physical Education teacher, Jordanian chool, said that is important to participate in this event; schools do not only provide science, but encourage students to practice activities, and such gathering helps them to communicate with the outside community, and refine their expertise and their cultural knowledge.
