19 Feb DICID organized an information point in Fanar Cultural Center

As a part of its activities targeting the local communities, DICID has been organized an information point on Fanar Islamic Center, for the third consecutive Friday during February 2017, to present DICID’s various activities. This is a first step for a permanent cooperation program, that includes activities such as conferences, exhibitions, focusing on issues of concern to non-Arabic speakers Expat communities.

In its statement, Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Doha International Center said: “The main objective of DICID is to strive for constructive dialogue between followers of different faiths towards better understanding and harnessing of distinct religious principles and teachings, such as love, peace, compassion and justice, to the benefit of the Humanity.

He added that DICID tries to achieve these goals through a number of activities that includes the annual International Conference for Interfaith Dialogue, Roundtables which discuss issues related to the local Communities s in Qatar, the DICID’s interfaith studies magazine Regions, as well as training courses for school students. The aim of these activities is to train, educate and aware dialogue skills, particularly the religious dialogue, by guiding ,build bridges of communication, understanding, in order live with the acceptance and respect of the differences within ideas cultures and religions as well.
