The Silver Jubilee of the Doha International Book Fair was held from January 7 to 17, 2015 in the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) Organized by Dar AlKutub and the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage.
A diverse range of publishers from Qatar, the region and the world, showcased their books to the Qatari population and visitors. Aside from books, the Doha International Book Fair had several events; such as art exhibitions, entertainment and cultural events.
The DICID team engaged with adults and children at their booth which showcased a variety of topics ranging from dialogue, diversity of cultures and religions and the history of civilisations.
It was a great opportunity for DICID to introduce and discuss the vision and goals of the center.
